Comparison of haemoccult tests and immunological tests. Over time, it has been found that the immunological tests are easier to use than the usual heamoccult tests. The immunological stool tests are independent from food and insensitive against vitamin c. The Diagnostik Nord FOB stool test is more sensitive and secure in colorectal cancer screenings than current test methods.

May 2011 EHEC pathogens in Germany! / NEW! Diagnostik Nord EHEC rapid test
As made famous by the media, raging deadly EHEC (Enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli) pathogens in Germany. EHEC is an enterohemorrhagic strain of the bacterium Escherichia coli and a cause of foodborne illness. Infection often leads to hemorrhagic diarrhea.
The EHEC pathogen can be taken by food, especially by raw meat or vegetables.
In addition a direct infection is possible. If symptoms occur, immediately go to the doctor.
To protect from EHEC pathogens, you should heat your food very well and clean your hands regularly.

The Diagnostik Nord EHEC test is available in packages with 10 pieces and costs 59,90 € plus VAT.
20.04.2011 Quick tick test study
Diagnostik Nord has conducted a comparative study with another quick tick test available in the market.
The results:
1.The detection threshold of the other test for borrelia burgdorferi is approx. 100ng/ml; that of the Diagnostik Nord tests 25 ng/ml. This makes the quick tick test by Diagnostik Nord more sensitive.
2. The other tick test does neither detect borrelia garinii nor borrelia afzelii. The test by Diagnostik Nord does.
Based on the data in the usage instructions of the other tick test (the test detects approx. 300 borrelia/tick with a reliability of 98% in most cases; the sensitivity and specificity is 98%.), we can therefore conclude that the quick tick test by Diagnostik Nord exceeds the limits and is also capable of detecting borrelia of the subspecies garinii and afzelii.

We are happy to announce and to present ourselfs with our brand new website. We tried hard to make the user experience of our site as comfortable and intuitive as possible. We did this by using state of the art internet techniques - in geek talk by using Ajax and Accordions etc - one of these when something moves across the screen :) No seriously!
